BC now joins Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and the Atlantic provinces with fully accredited Sommelier certification.

This program prepares candidates for an exciting and rewarding career in the Hospitality Industry by providing training and ensuring proficiency in: wine production, global wine regions, food and wine pairing, cellar management, overall wine and beverage management and all aspects of professional wine service. The program will also include a sommelier management research project as well as a restaurant practicum, or stage, allowing for students to gain invaluable experience and evaluation from top industry professionals.
Instructors with expertise in each of these key areas will instruct the program. The core instructors represent over 75 years of sommelier/teaching experience; in addition, a dynamic group of guest instructors will be brought in to support and instruct specialized areas of the Diploma Program.
The level of instruction, curriculum and overall program design of the Diploma Program will be truly exceptional.
Candidates who pass all required examinations will be awarded a Professional Sommelier Diploma; and, will have achieved proficiency to fulfill the role of a restaurant sommelier, or other position(s) in the wine and beverage service industry around the world.
