Lambrusco comes from Emilia-Romagna, a virtual hotbed of excellence, home to Prosciutto, Parmigiano Reggiano, Ferrari, Lamborghini and so much more. It has recently made a massive comeback, thanks to producers like Lini 910, who are dedicated to absolute quality.
Lini 910 was founded in 1910 by grandfather Oreste, who paved the bubbly red way for generations to come. They have set themselves apart with a complete range of wines, including Labrusca White, Labrusca Rosè, Labrusca Rosso, In Correggio, and Metodo Classico, all of which you will be able to taste during the Masterclass. Their hard work was recognized in 2015 when they were named one of Opera Wine’s 100 Greatest Producers by Wine Spectator.
The charismatic Alicia Lini is a former ballerina who ended up dropping everything to work in the family business, after receiving a graduate business degree in the UK. Her connection to Emilia Romagna, her family, and the wine business was too strong, and she has since become an ambassador of all things Lambrusco – and Emilia Romagna.
