Indigenous Grapes of Italy - with Masi Agricola
Amarone, Ripasso and Valpolicella are some of the most traditional wines of Italy, built around indigenous grape varieties.
However, it is rare to taste these varieties on their own...
As part of their ongoing research, Masi Agricola has produced single variety samples of many key components of these classic wines: Molinara, Rondinella, Oseleta and Verduzzo.
As part of this special seminar (exclusive to CAPS BC) presented by Masi Ambassador, James Bornn, we have the opportunity to taste these varieties both in their fresh and semi-dried form.
We will also taste some older vintage Amarone and Ripasso wines which show off the unique way in which wines made from dried grapes age.
This is a seminar and tasting that you do not want to miss!
